MINI LOAN Program

Formerly known as the Predatory Loan Conversion Program

Mini Loan Program will continue to help neighbors convert their high-interest payday and title loans into a single low-interest loan and will also help neighbors with emergency expense loans (vehicle repair and new apartment deposits).  The Mini Loan Program is an improved version of the Predatory Loan Conversion Program.

The average interest rate for payday and title loans is 326%.  Since April 5, 2014, the Council with the 27 Conferences, helped converted 311 loans and issued 200 loans.
