House in a Box

House in a Box™ supplies disaster survivors with critical items to furnish an entire home: everything from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bedroom. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul works closely with major retailers to negotiate discounted prices for these new items that we provide for families affected by major disasters. House in a Box has been deployed all over the United States, notably in partnership with the American Red Cross to relieve the effects of Hurricane Sandy. We provided House in a Box in the three major disasters experienced in our diocese since 2011.
