Each year, the Society hosts a variety of training sessions, retreats, celebrations and fundraisers, including our Ozanam Orientation for new Vincentians, Feast Day to honor our volunteers and share in fellowship, the Friends of the Poor Walk to raise funds to support local families in need, and spiritual retreats. Check out our listings below to see what’s on the calendar!
Ozanam Orientations are required for new Vincentians but also serve as a refresher for current Vincentians. At the Orientations, we discuss the Rule, the guidelines of conference activities, how to conduct home visits, and more.
The Diocesan Council holds four or more Ozanam Orientations per year around the Diocese. Unless otherwise noted, the Orientations begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays, with check-in open at 8:30 a.m. Orientations end at 2:00 p.m. An email with logistics and details is typically sent 3-4 days before each event. Online registration opens 60 days months prior to each Orientation. Please RSVP and let us know if you plan to attends.

Pet Clinic at the VFC
The Society is hosting a special vet clinic on Saturday, April 15 at the VFC to provide basic veterinary care onsite. In partnership with The Oliver Project, we invite our neighbors in need to bring their furry friends to the VFC to meet with veterinarians for a consultation, vaccinations, pet food, and supplies at no cost.
We are thrilled to bring the program to our neighbors and their pets right here at the VFC!
