The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic Lay Ministry, is all about
serving people in need. Through our network of volunteers we assist
individuals and families with basic unmet needs including rent, utilities,
food, clothing, transportation, minor medical, prescriptions and a listening
ear.
Our network of charity serves the Diocese of Austin in 34 Catholic Parishes.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul members visit over 1000 families a month
hearing difficult and heartbreaking struggles. Members learn of the
situation and assist them in our small way. They can often refer the
individual or family to other agencies or ministries available to further
assist them.
Your donations of money, vehicles, household items and clothing are greatly
needed and appreciated! Proceeds are utilized to serve your neighbors here
in Central Texas. |
