St. Vincent de Paul launches new CATV awareness campaign for HOPE Woodworks and Recycling, Inc.

Austin: In an effort to further serve the unemployed and under-employed people visited by members of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, they are working to establish a new Special Works called HOPE Woodworks and Recycling, Inc.

Many of the approximate 1000 families per month visited by members within the Diocese of Austin are in need of work or better paying jobs and Hope Woodworks is an effort to allow our members the means to refer individuals for employment, says Randall Delgado, President of the Council of Austin. Hope Woodworks has the ability to grow and provide opportunities for many of those we serve who are struggling just to make ends meet. The benefits are far reaching. This effort will help those we serve, builders and the environment, adds Randall.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is working to bring the entire community into the effort and prays that this intitial funding campaign will be fruitfull.
