Welcome to the South Central Region Website.  We hope you visit it often.  As we are such a large region geographically, it is our desire for the website to facilitate communications between the Conferences and Councils of the region.  We will use it as a vehicle to share best practices and achievements, provide organizational information, and show the schedule of upcoming  events. We ask that you be a two way user by both browsing the information provided and sharing information from your Conference or Council.  Our mutual use of this tool will help us all better serve those in need.

National Meeting a great success!

Nearly 700 Vincentians from around the country attended the Society of St. Vincent de Paul National meeting from Aug. 29 - September 1st.  Members of the Vincentian family gathered iunder the theme Serving Others, Serving Christ, In The Sign of  The Cross. Bishop  Gregory Aymond, Bishop of The Diocese of Austin, welcomed the Vincentian family members.

 

South Central 2008

The South Central Regional Meeting will be hosted by the SVDP Dallas Council on May 14 - 17, 2008. The meeting will be held at the Adam's Mark Hotel -
soon to be the Sheraton. Topics will include Spiritual Formation, Guidance for Conferences on Immigration Laws, Tenets of Social Justice for Vincentian
